Page 11 Chanterelle at Jessica's releases a new Light Lunch Menu1st January 2011 by Sarah GaleChanterelle at Jessica's restaurant has created a new light lunch menu that is to be released from the 4th of January 2011. The new menu will be available from midday to 2pm, Monday to Friday along with the full A la carte menu. Master Chef Andrew Peaston said "This new Light Lunch menu uses a few dishes from our A la carte menu, but also brings a few new dishes to the restaurant. Here is what she had to say:"Celebrating twenty years of business in hospitality is no mean feat by any measure but when you offer your diners spectacular river views, fine cuisine and seamless service youre destined to be successful. Chanterelle at Jessicas, located at Perths Hyatt Centre in the CBD, continues to receive rave reviews for fine dining. Owned and operated by husband and wife team Andrew and Elaine Peaston, Chanterelle boasts impeccable service by staff who obviously love working for this pair. Elaine oversees front of house operations while Andrew runs a tight ship in the kitchen, creating contemporary West Australian cuisine using only the best seasonal produce available."Fresh seafood pulled from resident tanks is one of this restaurants specialties and the variety on offer is fabulous. The barbecue ocean plate boasts three types of fish, scallops, prawns and squid with saffron risotto for those who want it all or theres the generously sized seafood platter for two. Shellfish are done so well here; the Moreton Bay bugs grilled in the shell with lemon butter sauce have to be among my favourites. Alternatively theres West Australian crayfish, steamed local marron, a spectacular bouillabaisse and an array of fish dishes. Steak and meat lovers are also well catered for and once again, theres a wide variety to choose from. Wagyu sirloin or tartare, grilled fillet steak with braised ox tail, roast loin of venison and de-boned lamb shanks wrapped in prosciutto are just a hint of what to expect. If you rarely leave room for desserts then I urge you to change your ways when you visit. Theres something for everyone with each dessert ensuring you leave Chanterelle at Jessicas with a content smile on your face. New Menu Master Chef Andrew Peaston releases a new Menu8th July 2010 by Sarah GaleThis week Chanterelle at Jessicas will be releasing its new menu.Master Chef Andrew Peaston has said that this new menu has a few new ideas that he is sure will become quick favourites. "There were a few seafood dishes that I wanted to try in the restaurant that I have adapted from some successful dishes I have seen in my travels." One dish featuring in the new menu is the seafood pie which comprises of red emporer, salmon, scallops, prawns & mussels topped with mashed potatoes & cheese.Another addition to the menu is the warm chocolate tart. Andrew Peaston again "I have had a few people asking when this dessert will be coming back onto the menu, after a while the demand became too much and I had to bring it back." The much requested favourite of many, including myself, should be in high demand, so remember to make sure that you have one set aside for you when you order your main course.
